Jon Kwan, founder of Cuckoo Hill Studio, is an experienced producer and director, dedicated to telling sensitive, compelling stories that inspire, educate and entertain. Starting out in the branded content world, he has conceived and delivered content and platforms for likes of Xbox, Red Bull, The National Theatre, Lionsgate Films, Harper Collins, Dennis Publishing. His short documentary and VR projects have exhibited around the world and online.

Jon also has specialist experience as a VR filmmaker over the last 4 years. He has created 360 degree films for SKY with Man City, Anthony Joshua, Formula 1 racing and has shot and edited for BAFTA and Emmy award-winning production company Alchemy VR / Atlantic Productions. He has led traditional and VR shoots in India, Nepal and Mongolia for projects related to wellbeing, meditation and Buddhism, including at the fabled Kalachakra teachings in Bodhgaya. His photography of holy sites is showing at the V&A Museum in their new Buddhist gallery, and will be on display there for at least the next 25 years.
